Last Thursday, 11th December the English Department offered a cultural talk about Baseball in the U.S.A. Brian Engquist, a Teacher Trainer for Pearson, spoke about the importance this sport has in the States and how it represents a way of life for many.

The talk not only helped us and our students to learn about the sport, it also allowed us to see aspects related to the country's history, character and language.
